About the Artist

Hey there, I’m Faith. I’m a freelance doctor by day (NUS Medicine ’21), blogger and cartoon creator by night, and full-time member of the Antiwork Club.

I started The Antiworkers as a cheeky little rebellion against hustle culture and toxic productivity, inspired by horror stories from my corporate girlfriends or doctor pals trapped in hospital. What began as random doodles between clinic appointments turned into a derpy universe of characters trying (and often failing) to navigate modern work life.

This comic is a love letter to everyone who’s ever:

  • Wished for a 24-hour call in hospital to finally be over
  • Overthought a Slack message to your micromanaging boss
  • Burned out while trying to be “a team player”
  • Hung around the office pantry bitching about work and life with your office besties
  • Stared longingly out the window wondering if there’s more to life than KPIs. (Spoiler: there is.)

When I’m not drawing animals in existential crises, I blog at Chasing Faith and Love – my personal blog where I write about my life as a doctor in Singapore, travel itineraries, book reviews and the odd philosophical musing. It’s my slow, quiet corner of the internet where I try to make sense of my life, dreams and misadventures.

Both The Antiworkers and Chasing Faith and Love were born from my desire to build honest, human connections – with a mix of softness, sass, and sincerity.

Thanks for being here. Whether you’re laughing, crying, or quietly avoiding your inbox (don’t worry, I won’t tell 🤫), I hope you feel seen.

Let’s skip work together. 💌

xoxo,
Faith
